Zachary Riding His Bike

Finally Zach can turn the peddles. He's such a big boy.

Labor Day Camping

We went up to Flagstaff and camped with the Rockstars (dirt bike club). It took what would normally be a 3 hr. trip 6 hrs. thanks to holiday traffic and accidents. Next time earplugs. I knew I shouldn't have taught my kids to talk:) Brents transmission almost blew and when we got up there the trailer didn't work. You know it was bad if Brent broke out the manual. Of course he had lots of help. There were tons of little boys for Zach to play with. Victoria brought her friend Emily from school. Now Victoria wants to race dirt bikes. Thanks Rockstars. Brent's excited, but I don't think that he has thought it through. She goes from a sport that is majority girls to one that is dominant with boys. BOYS! Not to mention the injuries. He is quick to remind me that cheer is the #1 ranked sport for injuries. Great he actually listened to me that day.

We went to Sunset Crater while we were in Flagstaff. The girls are learning about volcano's in school. They thought that it was sooo cool. They got reprimanded by some vacationing teachers for going off of the trail to get a pictures and ruining the fragile rocks:) What? We happened to be parked right next to them, which is our luck, so Brent made sure he started up his big diesel truck for them choke on the fumes.

Spirit Day

Victoria finally got to wear her cheer uniform to school for spirit day. She was excited, but felt a little weird wearing it. Doesn't she look sooo cute?

First Day of Pre-School

Zach's first day of pre-school. He was soo excited to be just like sissy and go to school. That soon dissipated when he realized that I was leaving him. He survived and we will live to see another day.

First Day of School

First day of Jr. High. :( She was soo excited and I was sooo sad. My little girl is growing up. She wasn't nervous. I think I was more for her. She gets to start her day off with math. She also has Ceramics and Computer Applications. So far she likes all of her classes. She is having to make new friends, because she doesn't see any of her best friends thoughout the day.

Go D-backs!

Last week we went to a baseball game. We timed it right to eat dinner at TGIFridays right when the game began. After we were done we went down to our seats. It was a great view and it kept Zach occupied for awhile.

97 Degrees Really!

Makeup 101

Sheri, Nikki's mom, and I decided to have the girls get makeup lessons before they started Jr. High. This is the end result.

July Monsoon

We came back from Williams and had to clean out our pool for what seemed like an hour, apparently we had a huge storm when we were gone. So imagine our frustration when we saw this not even an hour later heading right for us:)

Williams, Arizona

We went to Williams with Brents parents, Ann and Elgen, this weekend to get out of the heat. It was only 90 degrees there:) We stayed at a campground that had a park that the kids loved. It was good to get the trailer out again. Victoria stayed with Brents parents in there new trailer right next to us.

Victoria fishing and man can she cast that line out into the middle of the lake.
The fish that Victoria caught.
Grandma and Zach fishing at Kiabab Lake. Zach loves casting and reeling.
We went to the Deer Farm just outside of Williams.
Yep I even reeled one in, but I'm not touching it. HELP somebody!
Zach loves fishing, especially with papa.
Zach caught 2 crawfish. This one is so small you can't even see it.

Big Horn Sheep

We saw Big Horn Sheep at Willow Creek. They let us get pretty close to them. It's amazing how graceful they are as they jump from rock to rock.

Laughlin

We went to Laughlin with our friends and had a great time!

Victoria Wake boarding

We went on a hike near the dam to a place that had hot springs and waterfalls. It was so much fun and a great experience.

The Hoover Dam Bridge from river level. No I won't be driving on it anytime soon.
